Beachside Church continues to show its generosity and commitment to our community with a donation of $7,869.26 to support Okaloosa County School District (OCSD) students and families in transition. This gift, presented by Eric Miracle, Adult Ministries Director, to Dr. Anita Choice, OCSD Title IX Liaison, will fund gift cards to help meet the immediate needs of children and families experiencing housing instability. Beachside has been a longtime partner with the District, supporting Title IX services that educate staff and collaborate with community partners to provide stability and hope. Under the federal McKinney-Vento Act, students in transition are guaranteed equal access to education. This includes immediate school enrollment, transportation assistance, access to meals, and essential support services.

Superintendent Marcus Chambers shared his appreciation: “We are deeply grateful for Beachside Church’s continued generosity and support of our students and families. This gift makes a profound difference in the lives of children facing some of life’s toughest challenges. Partnerships like this ensure our students have the stability and resources they need to thrive in school and beyond.”
