How Conexión Began

Our Story

Conexión was founded in 2014 with a simple goal: provide reliable information and meaningful connections for the growing Hispanic community of Northwest Florida.

What began as an eight-page bilingual publication has evolved into a comprehensive media platform that informs, educates, and celebrates the diversity of our region.

Today, Conexión reaches readers through print, digital media, social platforms, community events, and strategic partnerships.

A Community in Motion

Why Conexión Matters

Bringing People Together

Events That Build Community

Conexión believes relationships are built face-to-face.

Throughout the year, we support and promote events that celebrate culture, encourage networking, and strengthen community connections.

From business networking events to cultural celebrations such as the International Festival, our goal is simple:

Bring people together.

Because communities thrive when neighbors know each other, businesses support each other, and cultures are celebrated together.

  • Three people wearing aprons and hats smile while standing behind trays of food at an outdoor food stall under a tent. Signs and other food items are visible in the foreground.
  • A woman and a child smile as they hold a large Goodyear toy box, standing in front of a festive "Merry Christmas" backdrop with Santa and a snowman. The joyful scene captures the spirit of serving the community during this holiday event.
  • Two people stand and talk at an outdoor gathering near a table with plates of food and drinks. Other guests mingle in the background under canopy tents. The setting looks casual and social.
