“International Festival On the Coast”

Destin – 30 May:  International Festival On the Coast was a great success!  INTFESTRUSSIA2Hundreds attended and there were more than 30 vendors participated including food vendors with Mexican, Italian, Chinese food and from other countries.  Vendors displayed their products and came from as far away as Panama City and Pensacola.

INTFESTRUSSIA More than 25 nations were represented in folklore, singers, and food in an event the likes of which had not been done in our area for over 10 years.

INTFESTKOREA2The event was organized by Conexión, in partnership with On the Coast Magazine, the Kasba Dancers, and American DJ Entertainment and Productions.

 

 

INTFESTPHILLIPINES2Performances on stage included the Kasba Dancers, Emerald Coast Bellanitian Dancers, and the Gypsy Rhythm Dancers from Panama City to name a few.  Area favorite, Reid Soria of Autism Sings LLC, entertained the crowd with several songs just prior to the closing band, Déjà vu, one of the area’s best bands.
INTFESTKOREA2The organizers wish to thank Cox Communications, K2 Media and Bric a Brac for supporting the activity and a special thanks goes to the host, Shoreline Village in Destin.

 

 

INTFESTKOREANext year, again during the spring, the 2nd Annual International Festival On the Coast will take place.
