“Food for Fines Program” Raises Money for Local Charity

Destin, FL. – The Destin Library’s annual Food for Fines program benefiting Harvest House was once again a success. During the month of December, library patrons had the option of paying their overdue fines with non-perishable food items or to donate the cash value of the fine. 

Many generous patrons who did not have fines contributed food and money as well. The program generated $312.15 worth of food and monetary donations which the library proudly presented to Harvest House this month.
