SANTA ROSA BEACH, FL – [February 4, 2026] – The Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation proudly celebrated the success of its second annual Red Shoe Party, a sold-out signature fundraiser held on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Old Florida Fish House in Seagrove Beach. With 140 tickets sold, the cocktail-style evening raised more than $30,000 to support children in foster care across Okaloosa and Walton Counties.

Inspired by Dorothy’s iconic ruby slippers and the enduring message that there’s no place like home, the Red Shoe Party brought the community together for an evening of purpose, celebration, and impact. Guests embraced the theme with hints of red throughout their attire, enjoyed elevated cuisine, themed signature cocktails, a lively silent auction, and music by DJ V-Train, all while supporting advocacy and resources for children navigating the foster care system.

This year’s event marked significant growth for the Foundation, with attendance increasing by more than 40% and funds raised growing by over 60% compared to the inaugural Red Shoe Party—demonstrating growing community support for the Foundation’s mission.

One of the evening’s most anticipated moments was the Red Shoe Contest, recognizing creativity and style in three categories: Most Creative, Most Glamorous, and Sportiest.

“We are overwhelmed by the generosity and enthusiasm of our community,” said Ginger Davis, President of the Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation. “The Red Shoe Party is more than a fundraiser—it’s a reminder to the children we serve that they are seen, supported, and surrounded by people who believe every child deserves safety, stability, and a place to call home. The growth of this event reflects how deeply our mission resonates, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who made this night possible.”

The Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to its 18 event sponsors, whose support was instrumental in the event’s success, with special recognition given to the Ruby Sponsor, The Edwards Family, for their leadership and generosity.

All proceeds from the Red Shoe Party directly benefit the Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation, supporting its work to advocate for the best interests of abused, abandoned, and neglected children within the court system by providing critical resources, educational support, and life-enriching opportunities.
