Un Poquito de Mexico Launches Successful First Annual Summer Camp in Quincy
Un Poquito de Mexico is excited to celebrate the successful opening of its 1st Annual Summer Camp in Quincy, Florida. Children ages 3 to 15 are enthusiastically participating in a fun-filled cultural experience where they are learning about Mexican traditions through folkloric dance, music, art, language, crafts, and much more.
This special program has been made possible through the collaboration and support of the Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico (SEP), PROBEM Hidalgo, PROBEM Jalisco, the Mexican Consulate in Orlando, and many generous community partners. We are especially honored to welcome two visiting teachers from Mexico, Dr. Ana Lilia Angeles Barrera, from Hidalgo and Maria Elena Rodriguez, from Jalisco, whose knowledge and passion are enriching the children’s experience.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has helped make this inaugural camp a success. Together, we are inspiring young minds while celebrating the rich heritage and traditions of Mexico.
