BB at 63

Hola, Hola, Hola Beautifuls! By the time you read this, Babushka would have turned 63. Wow and Woah. And that is exactly how she feels about that. Couldn’t decide whether to write 63 “for” BB or 63 “of” BB, y si, there is a diferencia. “FOR” is what happens to you, “OF” is what YOU make out of it.
Honestly, it’s an ongoing pendulum. FOR- Some days Babushka is feeling her age. Sin gana de mover, either because of aches or just enjoying Being. At the stage where not having to clock in is truly a blessing, but then the bills and obligations knock and it’s time for the OF. Finding paying opps, little ones for the monthlys? Been there, done that, don’t need to do it again. A pendulum Beautifuls that BB is starting to appreciate and get used to.
Mornings at the Senior Center, for like minded company. Babushka’s the baby of the bunch, so it’s wonderful to wrack the brains of those who know where BB’s at and can give sage advice- and silliness. You’ve never laughed so hard as when you’re in the company of those who know the quickness and the quirks of life.
Mid-day is time for work. Appointments, writings, bargain hunting, online gotta dos, checking of accounts, planning for the next day, checking online sites for auditions. Oh si, the latter is definitely a combo of both FOR and OF. The S Sisters- Serendipity and Synchronicity, are at work in acting accolades. Can’t be picked if auditions aren’t andando. Pero BB stressing about that? Truthfully, kinda. It’s a dream that’s been a vida in the making, making a vida out of a dream…
