DETROIT , August 26, 2025 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Today, the Hispanic Organization of Mortgage Experts (HOME), a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Hispanics and Latinos through homeownership education and advocacy, announced the launch of HOME Certified , powered by Twiz.io, the mortgage industry’s first bilingual learning management system. The organization also introduced Wholesale Search, an AI-powered tool based on ChatGPT that connects borrowers with lenders offering the products they need in seconds. Both tools are now available to members at www.TuNuevoHome.com

The on-demand LMS trains and certifies loan officers to serve Hispanic and Latino borrowers, a group expected to drive 70 percent of the growth in homeownership in the United States over the next 20 years.

Although HOME promotes bilingual access, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recently announced an “English-only” initiative that eliminates the translated documents that Hispanic families have long used. Advocates warn that the change could disproportionately affect millions of Americans, particularly residents of Puerto Rico, a U.S. territory, by limiting access to essential housing resources.

“HOME Certified is a movement created for generational impact,” said Rogelio Goertzen, founder and CEO of HOME. “After 13 years in the lending industry, we kept hearing the same thing from banks, financial institutions, broker owners, and branch managers: they wanted Spanish-speaking loan officers, but they didn’t have a structured way to train them. So, we created a bilingual, technology-driven platform that turns intent into funded mortgages, generational wealth, and lender growth. By combining the speed of AI with cultural fluency, we empower loan officers a decade ahead of schedule and provide businesses with a 20-year growth engine, regardless of market fluctuations.”

The wholesale search tool analyzes over 150 wholesale lenders and filters results by loan type, rate, closing speed, language support, and compatibility with platforms like Encompass or Arive. Loan officers enter a brief description into the tool and receive a ranked list of lenders tailored to each borrower. HOME regularly updates the link and database, so only active members have access.

“Education is the gateway to opportunity and the antidote to fear,” said Cubie Hernandez, Director of Technology and Learning at HOME. “Our team decided to lead by example and invest time and money to build a bilingual platform and search tool that offers practical business development lessons, shows loan officers how to grow, and empowers families to approach the mortgage process with confidence. We hope this initiative inspires our industry to recognize the power of combining education and technology and to join us in expanding access for all families.”
