Together We Thrive: Supporting Families and Strengthening Community

By Dr. Caitlin Pollard, PhD, Founder and CEO

Together We Thrive, Inc. is a family- and community-focused nonprofit organization serving Pensacola, Gulf Breeze, Navarre, and Fort Walton Beach. Founded in June 2025 by Dr. Caitlin Pollard, the organization was created to support parents, grandparents, caregivers, and children through infant safety education, parent-centered resources, and practical community outreach. As a mother, healthcare policy professional, and advocate, Caitlin saw how many families were doing their best to care for their children while also navigating stress, isolation, financial pressures, and the overwhelming amount of information that comes with parenthood. Having been raised by a young single mother in a low-income household, Caitlin understands how important trusted support, practical resources, and community connection can be for families navigating everyday challenges. Together We Thrive was created to help fill that gap with trusted education, practical resources, and a stronger sense of community.

Our mission is to support families through trusted education, practical resources, and compassionate connection in the areas of infant and toddler safety, parent mental health, and family well-being. Our vision is a future where families feel informed, supported, and connected to the resources and community they need to thrive. Together We Thrive focuses on helping families create safer, healthier home environments through prevention-based education and outreach. Current efforts include infant safe sleep education, child home safety awareness, parent and caregiver support, and family resource connection, but we are always growing. A current initiative, Beyond the Baby Registry, is a family-focused campaign that promotes infant and home safety by helping parents and caregivers identify often-overlooked essentials and access practical support – this campaign includes a free take-home safety kit.

We also participate in community-centered outreach initiatives that provide practical safety items, educational materials, and encouragement for parents who may need support but are not always sure where to turn. We believe that supporting families is one of the most helpful ways to build safer, healthier, and more connected communities. Through evidence-based education, prevention-focused outreach, and family-centered support, Together We Thrive works to help every parent, grandparent, and caregiver feel more confident, connected, and empowered in everyday life.

We welcome opportunities to partner with local agencies, healthcare providers, schools, businesses, faith communities, and other organizations that share a commitment to strengthening families and helping every baby have the safest start in life. Community support through collaboration, sponsorship, and donations helps expand outreach efforts and increase access to meaningful resources for local families.
