Networking with a Halloween Theme

By Akiko Veil

The October Women’s Expo at BizLounge, a co-working space with on-site child care in Fort Walton Beach, will feature a Halloween theme. Families are encouraged to come in costume and shop at the 20 vendor booths which feature local business women.

The Halloween themed expo will take place Saturday, October 27 from 9 AM to noon at BizLounge at 652 Beal Parkway, Fort Walton Beach. This free event is different, not only can patrons shop, but their little ones can attend in costume and take part in early trick-or-treating.

The bi-monthly expos at BizLounge go beyond just a shopping event. A local non-profit is made beneficiary for each expo, October’s event will benefit The Shelter House.

At BizLounge one of our main goals is to provide an environment where an individual can work, collaborate and ultimately be successful and feel empowered. Many of our vendors don’t have a storefront to showcase their products and services. This event gives them that, an opportunity to put their products in the hands of potential customers. In addition, a local non-profit is chosen as beneficiary of the expo. As beneficiary they receive 50% of all vendor fees as well as a percentage of earnings from present food vendors.

The expo is free to attend, and child care is provided at no charge to event attendees, permitting that space is available. To learn more about BizLounge visit www.mybizlounge.comor for event information including a full vendor list visit www.mybizlounge.com/events.
