Legendary Street Soccer

By Kevin Metcalfe

Established in March 2012, Legendary Street Soccer introduced the Emerald Coast to the world of street soccer and futsal.  Some of the best football players in the world played futsal and street soccer.

LEGENDARYSOCCER2Christiano Ronaldo said “In Portugal all we played growing up was Futsal.  If it wasn’t for futsal I definitely would not be the player I am today.”

Lionel Messi said “As a little boy in Argentina, I played futsal on the streets for my Club. It was tremendous fun and helped me become the player I am today.”

Neymar said “Futsal helps a lot because you need to think quickly…”  Neymar spent hours in the streets and played futsal in school and with Santos.

LEGENDARYSOCCER1Aside from Futsal, Panna and other street soccer games have taken shape through Nike and Redbull.  Brazil, Spain, and Portugal have been soccer powerhouses because soccer is more than a game.  As stated by Christiano, Messi, and Neymar, they not only played futsal, they lived with a ball at their feet on the streets of Portugal, Argentina, and Brazil.  “More than a game, it’s a Lifestyle.”

Join Legendary Street Soccer as we build a culture on the streets of the Emerald Coast.  Check our website out at www.LegendaryStreetSoccer.com and join us for Friday Night Street Soccer, Futsal, Panna, and Street Soccer every week and through the entire summer at Hammock Bay, Destin, and Fort Walton Beach.  Register online for our 4v4 and 5v5 futsal tournaments and our upcoming camps and Panna challenges.
