Are you a victim of housing discrimination?

The Mission of the Florida Commission on Human Relations is to prevent unlawful discrimination by ensuring that all people have access to equal opportunities in employment, housing, and public accommodations.  The Commission is committed to enforcing Florida’s Civil Rights and Fair Housing Laws, specifically the Florida Fair Housing Act. Fair Housing is the right of every individual to seek housing of their choice without it being limited based on any of the protected classes.   The Commission covers the entire state of Florida, with the exception of six counties that have their Fair Housing Assistance Programs.  Those counties are Palm Beach, Pinellas, and Broward as well as the cities of Jacksonville, Tampa and Orlando. If you feel you have been a victim of housing discrimination based any of the following protected classes: Race, Religion, Color, National Origin, Religion, Sex, Familial Status and or Disability, please contact the Florida Commission on Human Relations (FCHR) at  (850) 488-7082 for any further information.
