Conexion Media Group’s 3rd Annual UNITY GALA was a huge success this past December 6, 2019!
More than 100 people attended and included some great speakers including Linda Perez Davila, the Founder/President of Boricuas de Corazon Inc., a non-profit organization based in Tampa. The speakers also included Wendy Lincoln of Have Hope You Matter, Evelyn Ramirez of the U.S. Census, and also Peggy Brockman, the Executive Director of the Hope Squad Teen Suicide Prevention Program being implemented in our area’s schools.
Conexion Media Group thanks the sponsors, supporters and everyone that attended. During the Gala, the UNITY AWARDS were presented to Pepper’s Mexican Grill and Cantina, Southern Star Immigration, and to Brian Wyer, the President/CEO of the Gulf Coast Minority Chamber of Commerce.
A $1,000 donation from the net proceeds of the Unity Gala was given to Boricuas de Corazon Inc. to help them continue their efforts to help families affected by Hurricane Michael in the Panama City area.
