You are Light

By Silvia Carcamo Z | [email protected]

We find ourselves in a world where technology is a tool for well-being, but also for harm, and in this we have to be so careful because we forget that God sent us to this earth to make a difference, to be different, to be light and not darkness. . That means that no matter what we do or where we are, we should always seek to be good, to be able to help others. The word of God teaches us in Matthew 5:14-16. You are the light of the world; a city set on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do you light a light and put it under a bushel, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house.

In this passage he teaches us how our life should not be hidden, our being should be light, but for that we must take several things into account.  Light means clarity, brightness, peace, serenity, joy, joy, etc., light is something that transmits purity and rejoice, seeing it gives us peace. This is how people should see us, people full of light, full of tranquility and very happy, and not because we do not have difficult circumstances, but because we have learned how to overcome them and how to deal with each problem healthily, the word of God tells us. It takes us back to the Bible where it tells us in -John 16:33 I have spoken these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have trouble; but trust, I have overcome the world.

Our faith that everything will turn out well when we put things in God’s hands makes us people of light, we can be that positive person even when others see misfortune, when we are people of light, and we can give that hope of teaching others to also be better people. And on this day, this March 2024, we have the opportunity to be that light for everyone else, that friend or friend who needs a word of joy, oh a hug, that family member who is always in difficulty, we can be the ones to give them an idea to get ahead.

Sometimes we don’t realize how much a smile can change someone’s day forever, a true greeting every day of our lives can be what someone in depression needs. Don’t forget that you and I are special, and that God has helped us get ahead day by day so that we can also be of help to others. The Bible says serve one another out of love – Galatians 5:14-15. I am sure that we have gone through very difficult circumstances and someone gave us a hand, now let us be that light for someone else, may no one turn off the light that is in you, may your light be stronger and stronger every day, for your family, for your friends, for your community, and if you still don’t know much about the word of God, go to a church, don’t pay attention to the fact that they are all equal, bad, hypocrites, know the difference, in this world woe to all kinds of people. But today make the decision to be light and not darkness, make the decision to be better, let’s be the light that others need in their lives. Smile more, God bless your life and all your plans,

Let’s smile it’s free.
