Taking it to the Streets – Rock Ministries

By David Triana

29 September:  Several groups joined The Rock Ministries of Fort Walton Beach’s weekly outdoor service in downtown Fort Walton Beach.

Pastor George Shealy leads the Rock Ministries each Saturday at 7 pm at the corner of Hwy 98 and the road that leads to Eglin Parkway.

Food was provided by Adron Bailey of B’s Smoking BBQ in partnership with Conexion Media Group.  Betty Martinez of Rapunzel’s Hair Studio and Shana Clark of Asta La Vista Salon also participated by volunteering of their time to give free haircuts to anyone that wanted one.  The Youth Ministry of the Tabernáculo de Adoración church, located on Green Acres Rd, also participated with music and a powerful message.

It was a memorable evening where individuals of different races and ethnicities UNITED to hear the word while serving others, including many homeless who attended the service.

We invite everyone to support the “Taking it to the Streets” ministry.  For more information, go to:  https://www.facebook.com/RockMinistriesFWB/
