Support Families at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® While Feeding Your Family at Domino’s®

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Oct. 24, 2022 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — During the coming season of giving back, Domino’s Pizza Inc. (NYSE: DPZ), the world’s largest pizza company, is asking patrons to think of the kids at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® on pizza night. From now until January 8, 2023 donate with your order and help St. Jude in its mission: Finding cures. Saving children.

“Domino’s is focused on making a difference,” said Jenny Fouracre, a Domino’s spokeswoman. “And during the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign, Domino’s customers are the ones making a difference for St. Jude kids by adding a donation to their order.”

Customers can donate while ordering over the phone, in stores or online at their local Domino’s store. Thanks to generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, room or board, because a family’s only concern should be helping their child live.

This is the 18th year that Domino’s has raised funds for St. Jude through the Thanks and Giving campaign. During that time, Domino’s has raised more than $96 million to help St. Jude in its mission. Every child deserves the chance to live their best life and celebrate every moment. When you support St. Jude, you help children with cancer around the world have that opportunity. Together, we can save more lives.

“The most incredible thing about the millions we’ve raised for St. Jude is that they’ve been raised a dollar at a time, or with pennies rounded up,” Fouracre said. “It’s a true testament to what people can do when we come together for a worthy cause. One pizza at a time, one dime or dollar at a time.”

When St. Jude opened its doors in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped increase the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80%, and we won’t stop until no child dies of cancer.

Lodging is a critical need for the more than 8,500 patient families who seek treatment at St. Jude each year. This need is why Domino’s committed a historic $100 million to help build The Domino’s Village, St. Jude’s last housing facility. Domino’s Village will open in 2023 and will be a home away from home for patient families, offering a quiet respite with spaces to live, eat and play for residents to enjoy. All funds raised by Domino’s this year will go towards that goal.

This is just placeholder text. Don’t be alarmed, this is just here to fill up space since your finalized copy isn’t ready yet. Once we have your content finalized, we’ll replace this placeholder text with your real content.

Sometimes it’s nice to put in text just to get an idea of how text will fill in a space on your website.

Traditionally our industry has used Lorem Ipsum, which is placeholder text written in Latin. Unfortunately, not everyone is familiar with Lorem Ipsum and that can lead to confusion. I can’t tell you how many times clients have asked me why their website is in another language!

There are other placeholder text alternatives like Hipster Ipsum, Zombie Ipsum, Bacon Ipsum, and many more. While often hilarious, these placeholder passages can also lead to much of the same confusion.

If you’re curious, this is Website Ipsum. It was specifically developed for the use on development websites. Other than being less confusing than other Ipsum’s, Website Ipsum is also formatted in patterns more similar to how real copy is formatted on the web today.
