MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 1, 2021 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Sezzle, the innovative e-commerce payment platform, joins the celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month by supporting the Latino microentrepreneur community in the United States. The company welcomes on its platform a large group of entrepreneurs, business owners, who offer a diverse range of products ranging from clothing, footwear, jewelry to food and beverages, among other items. Sezzle is a financial technology company operating in the United States and Canada, offering an alternative payment platform, which has interest-free online installment plans.

Regarding the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, Claudia Fierro-Poppen, Sezzle spokesperson, said: “Sezzle as an innovative financial services company supports the Hispanic community, not only during the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month but every day of the year; offering our platform to entrepreneurs to publicize their products, and to consumers in turn we help them acquire basic necessities with installment payments and without interest.

With the slogan “Buy now, pay later”, the financial technology company has captivated more than 40,000 stores, since the services offered are aimed especially at an audience that needs payment facilities. On the other hand, Sezzle has a program called “Sezzle Up”, which helps users grow credit in the United States by sharing their credit history with credit bureaus; consumers can access this program immediately after they have made full payment and on time for at least one order.

“About 20% of Sezzle users are Hispanic and our role is to be able to offer them a more responsible, efficient and transparent option so that they can make purchases, manage budgets and thus build credit in the United States,” concluded Fierro-Poppen.

Sezzle is classified as a B Corporation, only 2,700 companies worldwide are classified as such. These companies pursue social benefit, so they seek to use market forces to respond to social and environmental problems; this is how Sezzle in a year has planted more than a million trees, fulfilling the purpose of planting one for each new user of the platform.
