Perfectly Imperfect

Most people do not like imperfections, we would like everything perfect, and when we do not get it we get frustrated and most of the time that stops our dreams and our lives become routine and we feel unsatisfied.

It is incredible to know that God in His word said, let us make man in his image and likeness, The phrase “God created man in his image and likeness” refers to God creating mankind with special characteristics that reflect his nature, such as the ability to reason, love, relate, and choose. In short, the phrase indicates that God created man and woman with the ability to imitate His nature, but not in the perfection that He possesses. That is why we must accept and love ourselves even with our failures and pains, with failures and all the defects that each one of us has, to be able to say I am perfectly imperfect is to accept you as you are, to love everything about you, to love our defects is the best way to learn to make happy and to be able to make those we love happy, without criticism or malice, The imperfections that each one of us has is what makes us “unique”. That’s why the Bible tells us in John 13:34 NLT, so it’s important to be kind to one another, not to criticize and not to belittle anyone. Just as I have loved you, you must love one another.

This new month let’s put our effort into prioritizing ourselves more, our happiness, our physical body, our mental health, it’s not selfishness, it’s loving yourself.  Love more, and smile at the world knowing that we love our imperfections, because God helps us every day to improve in every area of our lives, and helps us to love ourselves as we are. The phrase “we are perfectly imperfect” suggests that while we are not free from flaws, our imperfections are what make us uniquely valuable and beautiful. It’s about accepting our true selves, with imperfections included, and recognizing that perfection is often unattainable.

Let’s remember the imperfections that help us grow and seek to be better in life, let’s put each of our dreams in God’s hands and daily let us be grateful and He will bless us and give us the strength so that every day our life and the lives of those we love are better.

Never stop believing that you can, with God’s help everything is possible.”

Philippians 4:13

We are imperfectly perfect. Love yourself.
