Es un médico asociado con casi treinta-cua años de experiencia en medicina de familia, servicios urgentes, y servicios de emergencia. Recibió su formación en la Universidad de Oklahoma y la Universidad de Nebraska a través del programa médico asociado de la Fuerza Aérea. Él sirvió con orgullo y se jubiló después de veinticinco años en la Fuerza Aérea de Estados Unidos.

Los padres de Marcos se mudaron a Nueva York en busca de trabajo y el sueño americano. Ninguno tenía más que una educación de sexto grado y quería más para la familia. Marcos nació en Nueva York y es primera generación Nuyorican. Se enlistó en el servicio militar y por medio del trabajo duro y la educación recibo una comisión de oficial. Es miembro Fellow de American Academy of Physician Assistant (AAPA), Florida Academy of Physician Assistant (FAPA), Physician Assistants for Latino Health (PALH), and Veterans Caucus of the AAPA. Tiene formación en Medical Readiness y Administración Pública. Marcos Otero is a Physician Assistant with almost thirty-four years of experience in family medicine, urgent services, and emergency services. He received his training at the University of Oklahoma and the University of Nebraska through the associate medical program of the Air Force. He served with pride and retired after twenty-five years in the United States Air Force.

Marcos’s parents moved to New York City, looking for the American dream and work. His parents had more than a sixth-grade education and wanted more for the family. Marcos was the first generation born in New York and is first generation Nuyorican. 

He enlisted into the Air Force, and through hard work and much education, he was commission as an officer. 

He is a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistant (AAPA), Florida Academy of Physician Assistant (FAPA), Physician Assistants for Latino Health (PALH), and Veterans Caucus of the AAPA. He has further training in Medical Readiness and Public Administration. 

He volunteers his time to Conexión-Florida by writing the monthly medical articles and maintains the web site http://www.conexionflorida.com.

Marcos works at the Gulf Coast Immediate Care Center located at 345 Miracle Strip Parkway, Fort Walton Beach. He will gladly see you and care for you and your family!
