HolaHolaHola Beautifuls!!

By Bohemian Babushka

We are now in 2019 and it couldn’t have come any sooner for Babushka. Bueno, actually at times it seemed to have flown by and though taken by sorpresa, BB was very glad for it.  If you have been following Babushka, you know my daughter was diagnosed with breast cancer at the beginning of the year. It was also when a brand ambassadorship was not renewed. Hardships on all levels. Pero you know what Beautifuls? We made it through. Con el favor de Dios, my daughter is now cancer free and because of limited income, BB started driving for Lyft- which she’s enjoying!! It’s very powerful to set your own hours, deal with new people and have daily pay if you so choose. As bloggers we usually get paid 45-60 days out, so this is a very BIG PLUS. And so at 56, Babushka adds another skill to her life resume.

There is power in knowing your strength and resistance. Power in knowing you will get through perceived downs. Does Babushka always see this?  JU SO FONII!! Por supuesto que no. BB’s a Groovy Grandma not a Genie Guru, wisdom isn’t always al instante, pero if she stops for a momento, Babushka can hear the musica she’s supposed to be dancing to.

Look back at 2018 Beautifuls. Write down the challenges you faced. Write how they were faced/overcome. Notice how you feel now about that challenge. What would you have done differently? What lesson was learned? Be grateful for the lessons learned and joyful in yourself for having gone through them.

Now for 2019- Remember the feelings of the above exercise. When you feel overwhelmed, think back at 2018 and know you’ll be fine. Live in the moment, Learn from the moment. Lingering is not allowed.

Babushka’s 2019 Motto- Breathe, Bailar, Be Present.

Wishing all you Beautifuls a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Babushka Besos a Todos.

In this black and white photo, a pregnant person with long hair sits gracefully on a bed. Gently touching their belly, possibly pondering gestational diabetes, they wear minimal clothing and a watch. One arm rests over their chest in the softly lit room.
