Earn your success based on service to others, not at the expense of others.

Help your fellow men!

In a bit more than a couple of months, Thanksgiving will be here, and then a bit after Christmas! During this time of the year, many people plan to “do something for others.”

What a great privilege the majority of us in this nation have by having the ability to give something to our family and friends, but in my opinion, an even more powerful privilege, is that of being charitable to total strangers, especially children from low income families.  Would you like to help put a smile on the face of a needy child or teenager this Christmas?

The area we live in is not only beautiful, but, it also excels in is the generosity of its business community, its people and the countless numbers of people that volunteer in the charity activities that take place throughout the year.

United for a Good Cause Inc. its leaders, members, and supporters, have as their mission to inculcate into young people in our area, the importance of service, giving and of working in unity to positively affect the beautiful region in which we live.

One of the projects that we fulfill our mission through is the Annual Emerald Coast Christmas Miracle Children’s Fiesta.  This year, the Fiesta will be on Sunday, December 16, 1pm – 7pm at the Emerald Coast Convention Center in Fort Walton Beach. It will be the 14thconsecutive one and over 1,800 persons are expected.

To that end, the organization held the Hispanic Fest 2018 this past September 9th and celebrated the 5th anniversary of the Festival.  The festival is the event with which the organization tries to raise funds in order to provide the party to low-income children and for the party to be totally free.  (Photos of Hispanic Fest 2018 are published in this edition).  The Festival was a great success and very cheerful, varied and people had a great time.  Approximately $4,000.00 were collected during the festival and, God willing, the party will also be a success.

The Christmas Miracle Fiesta’s primary purpose is for all that attend, especially the kids, the opportunity to just have a great time and for the needy families to have a MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Hope, Charity…Love, three of the greatest things a person can give to another, that is what the Christmas Miracle “gives” to those that attend.

There are thousands of needy children in our area, countless families who just do not have the means to give their children gifts during Christmas. One thing is for sure, United for a Good Cause Inc., its leadership, supporters and volunteers, cannot do this on their own…thus, everyone is invited so that TOGETHER, in UNITY, we can “put a smile on a needy child’s face this Christmas!”

The Emerald Coast Christmas Miracle was inspired by “Ramon’s Miracle on 31st Street” in Tucson, Arizona, an event that Ramón has been organizing since 1973! Last year, Ramón’s Fiesta hosted over 10,000 kids and his concept is the same one we follow.  EVERYTHING IS FREE at the Christmas Miracle!

Consequently, Ramon’s Miracle and our Miracle on the Emerald Coast, two years ago, inspired “The Christmas Miracle in Puriscal”, a small town on the outskirts of San Jose, Costa Rica!

Are you ready to make a difference in the life of a child? Call and be part of the Christmas Miracle!
