NEW YORK, June 17, 2024 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Ernst & Young LLP (EY US) is calling on all Hispanic/Latino and African American entrepreneurs to join the 2025 cohort of the Entrepreneur Access Network (EAN). This accelerator program is accepting applications until the deadline of August 30, 2024.

The need

Black- and Hispanic/Latino-owned businesses are economic powerhouses, generating $183 billion 1 and $800 billion 2, respectively. However, they are barely scratching the surface of their potential. EAN helps close the disparity in access and resources, and supports these businesses in their growth.

The benefit

With preparation and a personalized curriculum, a community of visionary entrepreneurs and access to the EY entrepreneurial ecosystem, including the Entrepreneur Of The Year® program and members of the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women™ community, participants benefit from the support of these communities, as well as connections with investors and leaders in the sector.

The impact

Since its inception, EAN has empowered nearly 300 CEOs and founders, aligning them with $51 million in capital and supporting more than $600 million in new contracts and services. Last year alone, participants received 2,298 hours of mentoring and participated in 1,000 business creation meetings.

Program Summary

Duration: 12-month personalized program for the unstoppable executive.

Offered: personalized preparation and learning, opportunities to expand your network of contacts and visibility to a variety of audiences.

Criteria: Black or Hispanic/Latino business owners, founding CEOs or majority owners of U.S.-based private for-profit companies more than two years old and 51% owned by Black or Hispanic/Latino individuals.

How to apply

Applicants can now apply at ey.com/earn. It is a free program with no application fee. Applications are accepted through August 30, 2024, with rolling acceptances beginning in December 2024.

Real and successful support

“Hispanic/Latino and African American entrepreneurs are among the unsung heroes of our economy. With EAN, we don’t just imagine a world where no barriers exist: we are creating it. If you are ready to scale and drive the impact of your business, let’s make it a reality together,” says Nit Reeder, director of EY’s EAN program.
