Expand your network with Conexión!
Tallahassee, 26 July: Over a dozen business owners and leaders from Tallahassee attended the Conexión Hispanics and Friends Linked (HFL) networking social at El Jalisco Capital Circle. The event was a joint effort with Rudy Saéz of Breeze Entertainment based in Tallahassee.
HFL is the networking arm of Conexión Media Group, the parent company of the newspaper and is an avenue for Conexión’s staff, its advertisers, partners and friends to get together in a relaxed atmosphere.
The attendees enjoyed the great food and service provided by El Jalisco where all attendees had a chance to introduce themselves and speak about their businesses while learning more about the others present.
HFL events are held monthly and can be scheduled at any of the areas where Conexión is distributed and can be “joint events” in partnership with any business, individual, or organization wishing to host them with Conexión.
At this event, a variety of leaders from Tallahassee were in attendance to include Mr. Windell Paige, the President of the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Paige spoke to the attendees about his organization’s efforts to establish a Hispanic Council.
Also present was Mrs. Olga Castillo-Schmitz, the current President of the North Florida Hispanic Association. Olga briefed us on the upcoming Hispanic Festival scheduled for 5 September in Tallahassee (see ad in this edition).
It was a great event and we are looking forward to our next one in Tallahassee! To learn more about Hispanics and Friends Linked, find us on Facebook under “Hispanics and Friends Linked” at: ttps://www.facebook.com/groups/623731774364241/
