La tasa de desempleo aumentó 0,2 puntos porcentuales y el empleo total no agrícola aumentó en 275.000 en febrero. La tasa de participación laboral fue del 62,5% por tercer mes consecutivo. Los ingresos medios por hora de todos los empleados aumentaron 5 centavos hasta 34,57 dólares, y la semana laboral media aumentó 0,1 horas hasta 34,3 horas. Las industrias que experimentaron aumentos en el empleo incluyen la atención médica, el gobierno y los servicios de alimentos y lugares para beber.
Según la American Staffing Association, el empleo de ayuda temporal representó el 1,74% del empleo no agrícola total en enero.

Unemployment Rate: 3.9%
The unemployment rate increased 0.2 percentage points and total nonfarm payroll employment rose by 275,000 in February. The labor force participation rate was 62.5% for the third consecutive month. Average hourly earnings for all employees edged up by 5 cents to $34.57, and the average workweek increased by 0.1 hours to 34.3 hours. Industries that saw increases in employment include healthcare, government, and food services and drinking places.
According to the American Staffing Association, temporary help employment was 1.74% of total nonfarm employment in January.
