Emerald Coast Foundation Donates $35,000 to CIC Kids

The Emerald Coast Foundation selected Children in Crisis again this year to be one of the benefiting charities of the ECF Boat Week and Poker Run and donated a check for $35,000.  The funds raised by the events help feed the at-risk children and sustain operations of the CIC Neighborhood.

Lynn Dominic, President of the Foundation Board, presented the donation to CIC and the other participating charities at a check presentation held at the Okaloosa Island Ramada last week. The selection of CIC for funding clearly shows their continued commitment of support to the kids living at the CIC Neighborhood.

Ken Hair, CIC President and CEO commented:  “The support by the Emerald Coast Foundation really made a difference in the lives of our at-risk children.  2015 has been a tough year for finding the necessary funds to provide a home to our children at the CIC Neighborhood and their support will help us to stay open and operating.  Thanks!”
