Editorial March 2016

David Triana Posted: March 7, 2016

Greetings to everyone and we hope it is so far a great 2016.  We have been very busy at Conexión and we got some wonderful plans for the remainder of the year.  In this edition, we are including information about the Talquin Electric Cooperative from the Tallahassee area, they called us to let us know they were looking for ways to get important information about their services and their excellent programs reached our Hispanic community.

Conexión prides itself in being THE BRIDGE to the Hispanic community and we offered them space to get at least a bit of that information in this edition and hopefully more in the future.

We have also been working on establishing a relationship with the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce, the Tallahassee Chamber, and companies and individuals in the North Florida area while expanding the relationships and connections in this area where we are based, NW Florida.  Starting with our next edition, we hope to have more information from the Big Bend Chamber in our publication.

We highly encourage Hispanic business owners to join the Chamber of Commerce in your areas, belonging to a chamber is an INVESTMENT IN YOUR BUSINESS, do not see it as an “expense”, because the connections and relationships with individuals or other businesses are key for you to establish your business and especially key to your growth.

Our newspaper conducts monthly networking meeting under our Hispanics and Friends LINKed group.  In this edition, you will find an ad for our next one, at which we join forces with our client, Attorney Gisela Rodriguez and her husband David, to help them with the Grand Opening of their new office building.

We invite you to join us on April 2nd, all our networking socials are open to everyone.  May God bless you all!
