Prospera is a nonprofit economic development organization whose mission is to help start, strengthen and advance Hispanic businesses to achieve a community that thrives. Offers bilingual assistance to Hispanic entrepreneurs seeking to establish or expand their businesses in Florida, North Carolina and Georgia. With 32 years of experience, Prospera has generated more than $4.9 billion in economic impact, contributing to more than 47,700 jobs. The organization provides knowledge and resources to entrepreneurs through individual training and consulting so their businesses can grow and prosper.
The Prospera program was designed by Hispanic entrepreneurs for Hispanic entrepreneurs, and has been in effect since 1991. As a Prospera client, you can participate in business seminars presented in Spanish and designed for entrepreneurs. You can also receive individual and personalized guidance from in-house business consultants who will help you in the process of starting or expanding your business, including support in accessing capital.
Prospera is able to offer its services to entrepreneurs for free, thanks to investments in its mission by generous corporations, individuals, and government agencies. Collaboration with other entrepreneurial support organizations is a key element of Prospera’s model, allowing them to focus on helping small business owners establish a solid foundation and increase their chances of success, in addition to referring them for additional services from other organizations. .
