Destin Garden Club Donates New Gardening Books to Destin Library

Destin, FL. – The Destin Garden Club generously donated new gardening books to the Destin Library to boost the nonfiction collection. Titles include Camellia Garden Field Guide, Roots Shoots Buckets, and Boots, Field Guide to Urban Gardening, The New Southern Living Garden Book, Encyclopedia of Landscape Design, Minifarming: Self-Sufficiency on ¼ Acre. Mr. Lee Vanderpool, Okaloosa County Master Gardener, also donated to the Library membership to the American Camellia Society, including a subscription to the Camelia Journal. All these materials are available for checkout.

“The staff of the Destin Library appreciates and is grateful to the Destin Garden Club for all their hard work, maintaining the Library’s gardens, and helping to provide informative materials for our community,” stated Wen Livingston, Destin Library Director.
