My love for sushi has been evolving for many years. Long past are the days I used to play it safe with sushi by ordering the most common and popular items in the menu. These days my sushi eating is definitely more adventurous and with that I am always searching for new innovative sushi places to eat.  A few months ago in search for a new sushi place, I was so ecstatic when I came across Sushimoto.

Sushimoto is a little hidden gem located along Highway 98 in Miramar Plaza in Walton County. As you walk into this little gem you are quickly greeted by their very welcoming and friendly staff.  As I was seated at my table I quickly realized that this family owned restaurant had quite a big number of returning clients.

It was definitely impressive that their staff was very knowledgeable, proud and eager to tell you about and serve you their food.

What I loved about Sushimoto is that they offer these special creative rolls besides their regular menu.  So, if you are in a mood to eat some different rolls just check their Facebook page where they post their special rolls for the week. Just to name a few some of my favorite ones are MotoRolla, This is How we Roll, Mango Tango and Shaggy Dog.  Don’t worry if you are not feeling too adventures they offer a variety of things in their menu like Teriyaki, Yakisoba, Tempura and Udon. For dessert I suggest their fried cheese cake, which was so delicious.

Whether you are in the mood to be adventurous or just in a mood for some great food, I hope you check out this little gem. Please keep in mind they are a small place and get very busy so I suggest coming early or just ordering some food to go. Also check their Facebook, website or call because they do close for some holidays.

Stay safe & healthy.  Until next time…
