Bring Your Talent Event!

Our first ever “Bring your Talent” community event, held on September 22, was a great success!  We had a total of 19 talented participants, including a six-year-old piano player.  The participants included people from the community at large and also some local Sam’s Club associates.

The event was organized to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and part of the activities included a Silent Auction where kids in the community could participate in.  A separate Silent Auction for adults also took place.

Special thanks go to Jose Selvin Martinez, Diane Parker, Faith Tooke, Moe Moni, and Silvia Costa for providing items for the auctions and to Ashley Barahona for the creation of the artwork used in the official sign, which was donated by Fast Signs.

width=Additional thanks go to Natasha Casner for being our Master of Ceremonies and to Sam’s Club Manager, Jose Candelaria and to all the Sam’s Club associates, members and community friends who made this possible.

The event was the brainchild of Bill Mcclure, a Licensed Optician at Sam’s Club and will become an annual event from this point on.  See you next year!
