November 17, Mobile, Alabama: The 35thedition of the Annual Mobile International Festival was a huge success with many thousands in attendance including students from the region.
The event was held at the Mobile Fairgrounds for the first time and dozens of nations were represented in music, folklore and food. The event is the largest such festival in our region.
“It was a learning year for us since it was the first year at the fairgrounds. With a few modifications, next year will be even better!” stated Ester de Aguiar, executive director of the festival.
