Making a Difference – Chris Kyle Frog Foundation

Continuing the legacy of Chris Kyle, author of the acclaimed memoir American Sniper, the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation announces plans to establish a regional presence in Northwest Florida.
In 2014, Chris’s wife, Taya Kyle, established the Foundation to Honor God, County, and Families Who Serve by providing experiences that strengthen military and first responder relationships – fulfilling Chris’s vision of stronger, more empowered marriages and families.
Since the Foundation’s very beginning, the Emerald Coast has hosted recipients of the Foundation’s signature program, Revitalization Retreats, in partnership with ResortQuest and many other local businesses. Married military and first responder couples awarded the experience enjoy the opportunity to spend one-on-one time to enrich their relationships and reconnect without the distractions of service. All expenses are covered by the Foundation including child or elder care, and the retreat experience is guided by professional relationship experts.
“We’ve always seen Northwest Florida as a strength center,” says Ashley Ribando, CKFF’s National Marketing and Communications Director regarding the Texas-based organization. “We would love to bring more program recipients to the Emerald Coast and explore additional opportunities to serve more military and first responder couples who reside in this area. Our long-term vision includes programs that help to build stronger relationships between military, veterans and first responder marriages as well as the communities in which they live and serve,” she adds.
In 2016, CKFF launched several additional programs focusing on effective relationship development strategies for those who dedicate their lives to service. This year, the Foundation will launch the research-based, Mastering Your Marriage experience in partnership with the Diana R. Garland School of Social Work at Baylor University and The University of Texas (UT) at Austin School of Social Work.
