Be like the Palm Tree!

Our mind needs focus, and in these difficult times, we need to have all our focus on our virtues, and not on our weaknesses. That is why I want you to focus today on visualizing a palm tree.
They can reach heights of up to 30 meters and their leaves can measure up to 6 meters long. It is a long-lived plant, being able to live more than 100 years. Its trunk, typically unique, is often sloping, smooth or rough, and can have a diameter of up to 50 cm. It is marked by circular scars where the leaves have fallen off, it is a tree that blooms and also bears fruit. In short, palm trees are incredibly adaptable plants that have evolved to thrive in diverse environments, from rainforests to coastal and arid areas, thanks to their unique roots, trunk, and leaves, wonderful right!

Now imagine being like a palm tree, in the word of God it tells us in the verse of Psalms 92:12: “The righteous will blossom like the palm tree; And we already realize by the characteristics of a palm tree that they can be super large, strong, bloom and bear fruit, but above all, they can withstand different types of climates.
That means that we can also be as strong as the Palm Trees, and endure in the difficult moments, those moments that go badly during the year, that we could not achieve our goals or our dream. That we can observe that even if the palm tree is dry and ugly for a while, its time will come to bloom and bear fruit, that as the trunk has scars, we also have scars, but that must make us stronger.
Get up every day, not focus on what we couldn’t do, but focus on what we will do better, that we will look for better strategies, we will improve our habits, that if it was due to personal problems we will seek help. That, if it was due to the betrayal of friends, family or work, we will seek to change our family environment or work, we will not remain without doing anything, we will ,look for a way out until we can flourish and bear fruit.
Because God has already told us that he has made us strong and when we follow the right path that is right and pleasing to him, God makes us like the Palm Tree, strong and resilient.
Psalm 92:12-1512 The righteous will bloom like the palm tree; It will grow like cedar in Lebanon.13 Planted in the house of the LORD, in the courts of our God they will flourish.14 Even in old age they will bear fruit; They will be vigorous and green,15To proclaim that the Lord my strength is right, and that there is no unrighteousness in him.
Always keep in mind, to be able to be resilient in our daily lives, I learned until I was an adult what the word resilience meant and without knowing the meaning, I was always a Resilient person, because I always adapted and continued looking for a better future, regardless of the circumstances, the abuse of the traumas that I went through since my childhood now I can understand that from a very young age I was a very resilient palm tree.
Today, thanks to God’s grace in me, I can say that I am a happy woman with a wonderful family, looking for a better future every day. That is why I emphasize the importance of seeking help, of not letting ourselves fall, and continue fighting every day, to remain strong like that palm tree and above all knowing that we are resilient and that with the Grace of God we can be better every day.
Let’s remember strong and resilient means having the ability to face and recover from difficult situations, traumas or adversities, maintaining a positive attitude and adapting to changes. It involves not only resisting, but also learning and growing from difficult experiences, using personal strengths to overcome obstacles and come out stronger.
