Multicultural Business Committee Completes a Hugely Successful 2024!

The Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce’s Multicultural Business Committee closed out the year with a fun “Around the World” celebration held at the beautiful Home2 Suites by Hilton in Fort Walton Beach!
A delicious multicultural menu, courtesy of chamber member restaurants and individual members, was enjoyed by the more than 40 active members and their guests.
The evening included an informative presentation on Mental Health and Wellness by Dr. Kameko McGuire of New Hope Mental Health and Wellness, a fun game of “Kahoot.it” won by Pancho Claus (aka David Triana ), and Karaoke.
A special appearance by ChaChaCha, a newly arrived kids’ Clown and Magician based in Destin, also took place as he wowed the attendees with several magic tricks.
Debbie Dodge, FWB Chamber Membership Specialist, thanked the outgoing committee Chair, Julie Webb and her team at Advanced Sacred Hope Academy, for leading the best and most successful year since the committee was created!
Debbie also thanked businesses that provided the delicious food and beverages, including: Kalai’s Hawaiian Kitchen and El Paso Mexican Grill and Cantina, Holi Indian Cuisine, McAlister’s Deli, Sonny’s Real Pit Bar-B-Q, and GS Gelato.
The committee meets on the second Thursday of each month at the Chamber Conference room, 5:30 – 7pm and will be led by Gelin Ducati of PenFed Credit Union in 2025. Non-Chamber members are welcomed to attend the monthly meetings.
