A Bed 4 Me provides a bedding kit at no cost to the families. Our foundation addresses this essential need as we believe every child deserves a bed.

A Bed 4 Me Foundation

by Diane Freeman, Executive Director

The A Bed 4 Me Foundation is a local 501(c) (3) organization with a mission to ensure that children have a place of their own to sleep each night. We understand the critical role of sleep in a child’s development, health, academic performance, and social situations. A Bed 4 Me provides a bedding kit at no cost to the families. Our foundation addresses this essential need as we believe every child deserves a bed.

The organization serves children ages 2-18 within the Okaloosa and Walton County area. After a referral and introductory visit are completed, we provide new bedding (twin mattress, bed frame, pillow, sheet, and comforter set) to children who do not have an adequate sleep space. Our only criterion for service is the age range of the children and guardians must be a resident of Okaloosa or Walton County.

If you know someone who needs our service, please visit our website. We have a very short application on the home page. There are just a few questions to answer, and we will follow up once the application is received. A Bed 4 Me will come to you! We bring the beds directly to the homes. We have volunteers to help, and we make it fun!

If you are interested in supporting our mission, please visit our website for upcoming events and ways to help. Any donation supports our program to continue to provide beds to children in our neighborhoods. Imagine bedtime without a bed. It’s a simple thing yet so important. Every child deserves to have a bed of their own. It’s a space to rest, play, sleep and dream. Thank you for dreaming with us!
