“Coats/Jackets/Blankets” collection drive
Greetings to everyone and we hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break and are looking forward to closing out 2021 this weekend!!
We had a great time during the Christmas season supporting several charity activities and are actively supporting a “Coats/Jackets/Blankets” collection drive to benefit the Fort Walton Beach area homeless.  This activity is led by Sonya Faison-Vazquez of Speak Justice (https://www.facebook.com/groups/300279647669300).  See the attached flyers!  The drive is on-going until 31 December and then, on 1 January, we are partnering with Adron Bailey of B’s Smoking BBQ to serve his delicious BBQ food at the Taking it to the Streets outdoor service in downtown Fort Walton Beach!  During that evening, the donated coats/jackets/blankets will be handed out to the homeless persons in attendance and Betty Martinez of Rapunzel’s Hair Studio (https://www.facebook.com/rapunzelhairstudio) will be giving free haircuts to the homeless.
We thank Sonya for letting us be part of such a great project and ask everyone that lives in the Fort Walton Beach area to consider participating by donating a new or slightly used coat/jacket or blanket.
