PAULA SOFIA & CESAR BOZA – A Talented Latin Duet

David Triana Posted: November 2, 2021

Paula Sofia and Cesar reside in Tallahassee and began singing together in 2019 shortly after they met at a karaoke night at a local restaurant. Since those days, they have brought their talent and varied music to different cities in the region and a variety of public and private events. They enjoy being able to promote Latino culture through their music.

They are inspired by artists like Marc Anthony, DLG, Celia Cruz, Guns and Roses, and Michael Jackson.

Paula Sofia was born in Barranquilla, Colombia. As a child, she entered the Musical Academy “Conchita Salcedo De Osorio”, where she learned to play the piano, the flute and was part of the choir. When she grew up, she combined her passions in the rock band “The Pilots”, and also at the Latin Orchestra “Uninorte Orgullo Caribe”.

Cesar Boza was born in Masaya, Nicaragua. He started his passion for music early in his life when he started playing the trumpet and saxophone in the school band. In 2007 he began playing with other musicians in “Barrio Loco” a rock band that became very popular in Nicaragua.

They have performed in different festivals like the Hispanic Heritage Festival at the Junction at the Monroe organized by La Buena Tally, the Caribe Festival sponsored by Cross-Cultural Coalition and Rail Road Square, and the Viva Ciclovia Street Fiesta at Fort Walton organized by Latin Flair Events LLC y Conexion Media Group.

Upcoming Events:  They will perform for the second time at the “Winter Festival 2021” in December sponsored by the City of Tallahassee with a special guest: Miriam Watkins, owner of Studio D. Studio D. Studio D is Tallahassee’s dance destination specializing in dance (salsa, bachata, and cha-cha), fitness classes, and social events.

Paula and Cesar will also perform at Venebites’ Christmas Party (Venezuelan Food), on Saturday, December, 18th from 7-10 pm. Follow their musical journey and original songs here @paulasofia. cesarboza or visit linktr.ee/paulasofia.cesarboza
