BizLounge’s Women’s Expo

By Akiko Veil
For new small business owners, especially independent sales consultants, it is hard to get enough customers to keep their business flowing. One of the options to secure new customers is to have a booth at trade shows, fairs and community events, but the cost of having a booth may be overwhelming for new businesses. The Women’s Expo, which is organized by BizLounge, a co-working space with on-site child care in Fort Walton Beach, has been a solution to such issues.
The Expo is held every other month for 20+ small business owners to have their own booth at BizLounge to sell their products. The products include leggings, accessories, essential oils, baby items and books, just to name a few. Since BizLounge enforces non-competition policy, it allows visitors to enjoy shopping a wide variety of products and for participating business owners to help one another by inviting their friends and families without having to worry about the possibility of losing business to their competitors. The Expo is not only for selling and buying; it also provides a place for participating business owners to actively network with one another to exchange information and speak about possible business collaboration.
BizLounge keeps cost to a minimum for participating small business owners; owners are charged only $10 to have their booth, and half of the proceeds goes to a charity. For the last Expo, PAWS (Panhandle Animal Welfare Society) was chosen and the next one in August will be Emerald Coast Children’s Advocacy Center.
With all of the above, participating business owners may acquire new customers, network with business owners and be able to contribute to a charity at the same time.
Participating in the Expo is simple and easy. All spots are first-come, first-serve. Simply contact BizLounge to reserve your spot and showcase your products/services during the Expo. The Women’s Expo is an economical yet effective sales channel to consider!
BizLounge is located at 652 Beal Parkway, Fort Walton Beach. You can contact them at 850-213-1877. For more information on their services and the Women’s Expo, go to: https://www.facebook.com/MyBizLounge/
