20 March 2021:  The 3rd Annual Festival, organized by Conexion Media Group (CMG) is in the history books and once again, the event was a great success.  The Festival was very well attended and included more than 50 vendors, outstanding variety entertainment featuring folkloric groups representing several nations and musicians ranging from soloists to the Hashtag Swing Band composed of 15 musicians.

The vendors and attendees at the far end of the park were also treated to great music throughout the day courtesy of the Autumn Poultry Band and the Bayou Cinco Brass Quintet.

The special appearance of Amanda Solis doing her “Tribute to Selena” presentation was a big hit with the crowd as she performed the late Selena’s top hits live on stage.  March 31 marked the 26th anniversary of the untimely death of Selena, and CMG is very proud to be able to honor her legacy by bringing Amanda to the Emerald Coast.

Thanks to the generosity of the sponsors and the participating vendors, $5,000 in net proceeds was raised and donated to the Saving Grace Women’s Home – Florida.  The Home’s mission is to rescue women from the grips of addiction, abuse and homelessness via a one year long, Christ-centered discipleship program.

We thank the all the vendors who participated, the public that attended, and the following sponsors/supporters:  Cox Communications, Step One Automotive Group, Gulf Power, Tienda La Mexicana Destin, Eglin Federal Credit Union, Simply Healthcare, Gulf Coast Immediate Care Center, T-Mobile, JD Restoration, IXL Real Estate, Natural Awakenings Magazine, Tier One Media, The Island Hotel, and also the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce and the City of Fort Walton Beach!

We are looking forward to next year’s event and promise to continue striving to making our International Festival the best and largest in our entire region!  For more pictures from the festival, go to:  https://www.facebook.com/CONEXIONMEDIAGROUP
