WILLIAMS SCHOLARSHIP
Tuesday, May 17, 2016: Alison Alaver received the Betty Williams Keaton Scholarship. Alison is a graduate of West Gadsden High School and the scholarship was presented by Dianne Williams-Cox, Candidate for Florida House of Representatives District 8. Dianne is the niece of the late Betty Williams Keaton who was an educator in Gadsden County for 30 years. The Williams Family has donated close to $40,000, to students on their way to college from Gadsden since 1993.
TALLAHASSEE LATIN DANCE FESTIVAL
El Director Artístico de Latin Dance Festival a nivel Mundial Erwin Rivera, en conjunto con Miriam Watkins, hicieron este evento posible por 3er. Año consecutivo. Más de 300 personas fueron testigos de esta celebración Latina que se llevó a cabo del 3 al 6 de junio en Studio D y The Moon Night Club. Estuvieron presentes instructores, profesores, y artistas de Nueva Orleans, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville y por supuesto, Tallahassee. Los DJs Rudy Max de Tally y DJ Oso de Miami deleitaron a todos los presentes. ¡El festival fue todo un éxito!
