The best time to create “Hispanics in Action” is hispanic heritage month. An event whose objective is to take the first step towards a greater purpose, to consolidate the personal, professional and social power of Hispanic women, through a solid network of training and promotion.

In my previous article on the Integrative Value of Hispanics, I referred to the trend that some studies have validated, on the impact of Hispanics in the workplace in the United States. Regarding statistics on Hispanic women’s participation, “The 61% of them participate in the workforce, compared to 59% of U.S. women. that do, according to Bloomberg.” However, there is still a very large gap regarding salary positions and benefits. Faced with this situation, Hispanic women have obtained as an alternative the entrepreneur. “31% of net women-owned startups are created by Latinas” Revista Forbes Woman.

When we talk about consolidating the power of Hispanic women, we mean generating internal strength in each of us, so that we are able to achieve our own success and share it. Success has a personal and a social measure, the second is achieved after having reached the first, not before. Overcoming oneself and feeling successful is a big step for projection and expansion.

Power is obtained when we achieve the synergy of this strength, recognizing ourselves in it, from the different areas to which we dedicate ourselves, either as a workforce, entrepreneurs or entrepreneurs.

Taking into account the projection of Hispanic women in the United States, the previous statistics and with the intention of supporting them to achieve this success, we have met a group of them, with the sponsorship of David Triana, Jaime Orozco and different groups of women who have long been contributing to Hispanic empowerment, to create an event that we call “HISPANICS IN ACTION”.

The event will be held during this Hispanic Heritage Month, on October 13 and 14, at 6:00 pm Central Time and we will talk about three topics, with different approaches: Building wellness habits, I want to undertake and I do not know how! And The efficient use of social networks to promote your company or services.

We cordially invite you to participate. You can also register if you generate courses, trainings or trainings in Spanish, to promote them in the future within the network.

If you are interested in participating, see announcement in this edition or call 850-368-3505 or email: [email protected]
