Tallahassee, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County (DOH-Santa Rosa), in partnership with the Florida Department of Health, Florida Division of Emergency Management and Santa Rosa County Division of Public Safety is providing the COVID-19 vaccine to eligible Santa Rosa County residents. In an effort to keep Florida residents and visitors safe and aware regarding the status of the virus, DOH-Santa Rosa will issue updates as new information becomes available.

County health departments have an important role to play in administering vaccine. Here’s a summary of some of our top efforts this week.

  • In accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order 20-315, DOH-Santa Rosa continues to offer the vaccine to individuals in the designated priority groups who are residents of Santa Rosa County.
  • Santa Rosa County has transitioned to a state-managed automated system resident can use to add their name to the vaccine waiting list. County residents can call 866-201-7110 or go online to myvaccine.fl.gov. This line is for Santa Rosa County residents only. TTY is also available for the deaf and hard of hearing at 833-476-1035.
  • As of February 25, a total of 24,981 doses of the Moderna vaccine had been administered to eligible Santa Rosa County residents by DOH-Santa Rosa and its community partners.
  • On Monday, March 1, Santa Rosa County’s central vaccination site at Parkmore Plaza, 6275 Caroline Street in Milton, will be fully operational. The new site offers more parking and is spacious enough for visitors to practice social distancing. Appointments will still be required at the new site.
  • DOH-Santa Rosa will continue to offer the vaccine by appointment at its satellite clinic at 5840 Gulf Breeze Parkway in Gulf Breeze on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

DOH-Santa Rosa continues to fight to protect health and safety as the rollout of COVID-19 vaccine continues.
