Embrace is told from the point of view of Taryn Brumfitt as she traverses the globe talking to experts, women in the street and well-known personalities, about the alarming rates of body image issues that are seen in people of all body types.

Taryn is from Adelaide, Australia, a wife and mother of three who is a highly recognized body image activist.  Her powerful message has reached over 100 million people via traditional and social media.

She interviews Ricki Lake, Mia Freedman, Amanda de Cadenet, Nora Tschirner, Jeffrey Madoff and others for the film.

After receiving more than 7,000 emails and messages from people all over the world, Taryn realized that there was a global body-hating epidemic!  She says, “I really compelled to make the film because so many people had reached out to me.”

“This isn’t a fluffy, body image piece that gets tacked on to the end of a news segment, this is an issue that’s affecting millions of people every single day.”

Embrace inspires its viewers to change the way they feel about themselves and how they think about their bodies.  It is relevant, relatable, highly engaging, but above all, it is life changing!

Now, people in the Emerald Coast are going to get a chance to see it.
